Controversial Autism Researcher Dr. Andrew Wakefield Slated for Interview With ACT Today! Executive Director Nancy Alspaugh-Jackson on Everyday Autism Miracles, August 13th

ACT Today! (Autism Care and Treatment Today!), a national non-profit organization whose mission is to provide access to care and treatment to children with autism, announced today that executive director Nancy Alspaugh-Jackson will interview Dr. Andrew Wakefield on Everyday Autism Miracles with Shannon Penrod on August 13th at 4 pm (PST). Listeners can hear the live interview at

Dr. Andrew Wakefield, perhaps the most controversial figure in the autism world, will be the solo guest for the hour-long program. The British gastroenterologist published a study that showed possible links between childhood vaccines, intestinal inflammation and neurologic injury in children that sent shock waves through the international medical community. Dr. Wakefiled lost his job at London's Royal Fee Hospital, his country of birth, his career and his medical liscense. Join Alspaugh-Jackson, guest hosting for Shannon Penrod, as she hears Dr. Wakefield's side of the story, and find out how he continues to fight for his reputation and search for answers on causation for the international autism epidemic.

Viewers can call in live at 877-864-4869.
